I lost my Arthas kitty at the young age of 9 in early 2019 due to saddle thrombosis. He was a Lynx point Siamese and I now know that they are prone to heart failure. Mom knew that losing my soul cat broke my heart, so she quietly kept an eye open for a cat who could help heal the void he left behind.

In August of 2020, Mom's best friend's son found an abandoned kitten. He bottle fed the youngling but wasn't able to keep her as a pet, so Mom asked me if I was ready to let another animal into my heart. I hated the idea of this singleton kitten ending up in a shelter, so I agreed to take her in.

On October 10th, 2020, we welcomed Claire Kittenfield into our lives. I like to think my angel Arthas brought Claire to me because she is a riot!

She has a huge personality in a tiny body and is always making me laugh. Claire is reactive and playful; her favourite thing to do is to "hunt" her toys and leave her kills by our bed or in the bathroom for us to find. (Such a good provider!) She also loves lasers and this motorized circle toy that spins around in a circle with a feather attached to it.
